Safety Management System

Are you looking or thinking about implementing a safety managment system using the new ISO 45001?

Our quality management individual is certified for ISO 9001:2015 through the British Standards Institute (BSI) and can guide your thorough the process, support you by reviewing and auditing to identify improvement, or project manage the process for you.

The requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act really means you need some form of Safety Management System in place to manage the risk, provide assurance and engage your workforce.

Our Safety Management System is based on the ISO 45001 international Standard being released in March 2018. We have a base system that we adjust to your business and how you operate. You will receive a manual that contains your safety policies, identifies what is in your safety management system and how you will manage safety in your company. We provide you with a robust risk managment framework that identifies your hazards, supports risk analysis, and risk acceptance against a risk acceptance model. This framework includes your risk management plan and your safety event register. We develop an assurance plan based on your risk profile and how you operate.  Then we provide you direct support to manage your risk and assurance through triage of your events, conducting initial risk assessments on your new hazards, and providing you with assurance reports according to your assurance plan.  With this system comes apps that allow you to record events and hazards digitaly and immediately, including the ability to take photos and to operate off-line.

All your documentation is saved into the cloud with access through a site we provide you with.  This supports your busness continuity and means you can access it any where

Jim Pope from Hauraki Health and Safety has done what he said he would do. I can now focus on building my business knowing that Jim has my back. He manages my safety for me, is dealing with my pre-qualification (which I found confusing) and he has given me an app to use which means no paper, no worries and no having to work after hours on safety stuff. It really is nice knowing that I don’t have to do this because Jim is.”
